The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it can be alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level made for intervention ordeals a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
